The Center for Improving Value in Health has defined its Mission, Vision, and Values – principles that guide the development and execution of its strategy and initiatives and set the framework for communication with its multiple stakeholders.

The Center is an independent national organization focused on the continuous improvement of value in health by sharing knowledge, influencing policy, building capability, and enhancing transparency.

Our Values
The Center has identified three core values that set the tone for its operation: Collaborative, Curious, and Openness. Together they are summarized with the acronym “CCO,” and these initials are integrated within the Center’s logo design. The three values are described below.
