value in health 5th Anniversary

Value in Health is now celebrating the fifth anniversary of its formal establishment by Ministerial Order (14 January 2020) as a think-tank incubated in the Center for National Health Insurance. Since 2020, the Center has worked to enable health transformation by sharing knowledge, influencing policy, building capability, and driving value measurement. Examples of its work over the last five years include:      

• Issuing publications and research reports on policy for better health system value, including the 2024 book How to Get Better Value Healthcare (Saudi Arabia's Edition), and hosting events, policy dialogs, and capacity-building programs nationally, regionally, and globally.
• Founding and hosting the Global Innovation Hub for Improving Value in Health, an outcome of the Saudi Arabian Presidency of the G20 in 2020.
• Delivering the first national Patient-Reported Indicators Survey project in collaboration with OECD.
• Establishing the Value in Health Network to exchange knowledge and combine efforts among the key stakeholders, which now hosts an annual conference focused on the topic of value in health with its members.
